"Treat others as you would like to be treated" - perhaps the saying rings a bell and is something we have been taught to carry with us since we were children, but the remarkable thing is that the latter part seems to be harder for us humans to take in . Namely, that we should treat ourselves with the respect and kindness that we so gladly show others. Self-care is also a good word that reminds us that we have to take care of ourselves.
